HALLOWEEN!!!

Bonjour fictional people! Today, Jo and I will be talking about Halloween. So yeah. Should we start with . . . IDK. Our costumes? That’s really the only thing to talk about.

Hello there! I’m black today! And Marie is . . . I want to say . . . blue green . . . whatever! She can tell you! ANYWAY. Sure. But we could also start with . . . *dramatic music* . . . HALLOWEEN STORES!!!!! *EVIL LAUGH*

I think it’s like . . . mint or sea foam green. I think. But anyway! We could start with Halloween stores. Would you like to start with that?

Sure. Why not. Then we can discuss Halloween costumes in general. And ours. Whatever. We’ll know when we get to that point. It’s like a . . . a . . . “you’ll know it when you hit it” kind of thing I guess. ANYWAY. Halloween stores. Let me start by saying, I freaking love them. I wish they were open all year long. But then there’s my mom. She hates them. I will tell you why. After Marie starts off with some stuff.

I really like Halloween stores. I like to wander around and look at all the costumes. I usually take forever to find one I like, but yeah. I like to try things on and just look at the accessories and wonder if I want to be this or that. And yeah. They’re fun.

I’m the same way *smiles*. BUT. I’m one of the crazy people who goes around and plays with the props and scares random people sometimes . . . BUT IT’S SO MUCH FUN!!! I love all the weird and creepy decorations and the costumes. It takes me a long time to find one as well. BUT ANWAY. I went to Zurchers . . . how do you spell it? I NEED ASSISTANCE. Thank you. Anyway, I went there just a couple days ago for my dad’s party supplies. And I was looking at this decoration, it was a rubber skeleton of a cat! It was so awesome and I wanted to get it and I showed it to my mom and she was like, “Ewww! GET THAT AWAY FROM ME!!! NO WAY!!” and then I wanted to get this ugly rat (it was fake) and she was so disgusted. She wouldn’t even let me touch it!!! And I like to try on masks! It freaks people out so bad!!

Masks are . . . interesting. I don’t usually try them on. But decorations. I love Halloween decorations. Like, you don’t even know. I always decorate my house for Halloween because my whole family sucks at decorations and things. So yeah. Our house always looks amazing. Just kidding, but it does look pretty good if I do say so myself.

Lucky. My family doesn’t buy any. They won’t let me! They wouldn’t let me make a haunted house that costs one candy (optional) to get in. Which made me sad. And I want to have a Halloween party like . . . SO BAD. But they won’t let me do that either. So we’re one of the boring houses :P.

We need to make a haunted house this year, kay? We’re going to do that. Just because. And we also need to have a Halloween party. We already talked about that, but I’m just going to say it again. We need to do those. And make them AWESOMESAUCE!!!!!
Yaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyysauce!!! I thought I’d try that. Yaysauce. That sounds . . . delicious. But, YAY!!! The thing is . . . we can only have a haunted house for so long so we can go trick or treating!!!! WHICH BRINGS ME TO SAY . . . I WILL NEVER BE TOO OLD TO TRICK OR TREAT!!! NOT EVEN IF I’M LIKE, 95 AND I CAN’T HAVE CANDY, OR DRESS MYSELF, OR I’M SITTING IN A WHEELCHAIR!!!! I WILL GIVE CANDY TO MY GRANDCHILDREN!!! But yet . . . there are kids, kids, that are in third, fourth, second, etc grade who are like, “Oh ya, I’m too old for trick or treating,” WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAT?! Just . . . ah! What the heck?!

Yeah. I remember when I was a fifth grader there were some people in my class who were all like, “I’m too old for trick or treating.” I, obviously, didn’t think that. I went trick or treating last year, when I was a seventh grader. The thing about older kids trick or treating, kids our age, is that . . . There comes a time when people are all like, “Uhmm. You’re way too old for this. No candy for you!” Which scares me. But yeah. Last year, I was by myself because I was going the logical route and my brothers were being illogical, and all the people were just giving me these, “Why are you even trick or treating? You’re like, 13!” I wasn’t 13, I was 12. But yeah. People are mean.

I know right?! And there were all these people at our school, they were like, “Dressing up for Halloween? That’s stupid. I’m too old for that.” My neighbor was kind of one of those people. She was like, “I didn’t dress up last year. I feel too old to do that.” But, she did wear a tutu that day at school. She’s in ninth grade now. And I’m not allowed to go out by myself. So, I’M PROTECTED BY A . . . now he’s . . . 10! 10 year old! And a . . . her birthday is this month . . . SHE WAS 10 LAST YEAR!! And she’ll be 11 the 25. She’s my cousin. She’s pretty cool. OH! I WANT TO TALK ABOUT THE SCARERS ON THE PORCH!!! That’s what I call them.

Scarers on porch, huh. Can I just say, I HATE THOSE PEOPLE! Kay. I’m done.

I’d like to say, I’m the one person who tries to scare them. I try to make them move by sneaking up on them. I’m usually the bravest in my group, so I’ll go up there, say hi, then leave. And then they scare my brother and my cousin. So yeah. They’re pretty friendly because I know most of them.

Shall we talk about . . . costumes now?

Sure. I like costumes. They’re my favorite part of Halloween.

Sooooooooo. This year Jo and I are actually going to coordinate our costumes! Something I’ve been wanting to do since . . . sixth grade! So yeah. I’m going to let Jo explain our costumes and stuff.

Yeah. I’ve never coordinated costumes with someone. Because A.) I wanted to find a long term best friend first and B.) I’m always kinda timid to ask or bring it up. I’m afraid of them being like, “Oh . . . uh . . . nooo . . . “ So yeah. Anyway! I’m happy about that. Is my point. We said we were going to be Yin and Yang, yes? But like . . . we’ll be dressed as . . . one of us will be black and  the other will be white and we’re going to be like . . . masquerade people. I think that sounds right, right?

Yup! So we need to go to a Halloween store together! Which will be really, really awesome!

Yes it will be!!! I love Halloween costumes and stores and Marie, so, all of that combined is like . . . BOOOOOOOMMMM!!! Best thing ever!!! So I’m very happy.

Exactly(: So, is that all we have for today? Do you have anything else to say Jo?

Just that I am really excited for this Halloween!! This is like . . . our first Halloween that we’re planning to be together like, the whole time, yes? Like . . . coordinating our costumes, going to the store, having a Halloween party, having a Haunted house, and I think we’re planning to go trick or treating together. Yeah. Because that would be awesome! We’ll never be old to go trick or treating together.

Yeah, I’m really excited for this Halloween. It’s going to be really awesome.

Yes it is! OH! I wanted to share a picture of an awesome costume idea. Maybe we could do it next year!
YEP. NERDS! ARE DELICIOUS!!

*screams* YOU’RE A CANNIBAL!!!!! Just kidding. But yes. Nerds are very delicious. We should do that next year. It’s decided. We’re Nerds next year. So. That’s all I have for you. *says in scary voice* Any last words Jo?
Tell my charries . . . *says dramatically* . . . that I love them!! Okay. That was awesome anyway. That’s all we’ve got! Love you all! In a friendly way, not awkward or anything. Yeah. Bye!

~Jo and Marie
